Conference Forums

IMTA hosts four forums at the annual State Conference: Independent Music Teachers, College Faculty, Collegiate Chapters, and Wellness. These forums provide a medium for open discussion and expression of ideas.  The mission of each form and past topics are listed below.

 

Independent Music Teachers Forum

The Independent Music Teachers Forum is an active resource for independent music teachers in the state of Indiana. This Forum and the IMTF Chair exist to be a liaison between independent music teachers and the IMTA Board of Directors and provides useful tools, information, and conference topics to enable teachers to be more successful and effective in their teaching.
