The 2026 IMTA State Conference invites you to nominate outstanding young pianists for this year’s masterclasses:
Advanced Masterclass with Eric Zuber
Intermediate Masterclass with Kevin Chance
Application Guidelines:
Submit a YouTube link of your student performing.
Applicants should be secure, confident performers who can respond positively and adapt quickly in a public masterclass setting.
Students must be able to handle constructive feedback and be comfortable with public critique.
Parents are encouraged to arrive early so performers have ample time to warm up.
Eligibility & Repertoire Guidelines:
Students must be studying with a current IMTA member.
Repertoire should be from the standard literature, polished, and securely memorized.
Total performance time may not exceed 12 minutes.
One applicant per submission.
Important Dates:
Application deadline: Friday, September 18, 2026 (no extensions)
Notification of acceptance: Monday, September 21, 2026
